I hope to give you a little insight into my life and why I do what I do here! My name is Zoe, I am 35 and I have 1 daughter, Caylee who is 14.

We live on the West coast of Scotland, right on the shore front, which is absolutely beautiful in the Summer time, but come Winter, brr!

I started off on Ebay & decided to name my shop Caylees Crafts as it was really through her that all of this came about! She has always been really crafty and creative, however it was when she was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was 9 that this all started.

She spent long periods of time both in hospital and and home in isolation while getting her chemotherapy, so boredom was really a problem, I was looking for something to keep her entertained other than colouring in and dvd's, when I came across sizzix. I bought the machine for her and some dies . I enjoyed doing little characters, and dolls for her, so decided to start seling on ebay to fund buying new things to keep her going. I love making the die cuts & Kits .

Thankfully Caylee finished her chemo in July 2006. She still enjoys crafting though and has her own sizzix machine, I am forever hunting for the dies around the house, as she dissapears with them.

She has always been a really girlie girl, so the first things that I put on for sale were the Disney princess's, every girl's - big and small favourite, as nobody had done them before, they were, and still are very popular. We both love Disney - whether it be Mickey, Princess's or My personal Favourite Tinkerbell!

My aim is to provide good quality and well priced products and kits for all of my customers, I really love it, putting them together has been a theraputic outlet for me as well, giving me something to focus on while Caylee was so ill!

This led us into Scrapbooking in a big way - we created so many albums of memories. As Caylee was reaching the end of her treatment, and after alot of Requests from Customers, I decided to expand the range of products into Scrapbooking, offering papers, stickers etc.

This in turn led me to branch out from Ebay - mainly due to the restructuring of their fees & listing policies to open my own website - I decided to change the name to Over the Rainbow Crafts - as well as Loving the Wizard of Oz - I really feel (hopefully) we have turned a corner, and try to look on the positive side of things now

Caylee was left with alot of Problems after her Treatment, She has quite severe Osteoporosis and Avacular Necrosis due to the Steroids, and so spent most of the 2 1/2 years of her treatment, and about 1 1/2 years after in a wheelchair, so really needs full time care, which is why I still work from home - although I would love to have my own Craft shop one day. Thankfully in the past year or so, she has found her feet again, and is doing really well, although it has got to be said only through sheer determination on her part! We still attend hospital regularly for check ups, however thankfully not "living" there any more, lol.

I hope that this has given you a little insight into my life, as you can probably tell it really does revolve around my wonderful Daughter.
